At 16, Nina is distraught by the incessant crying of Jessie, her 4-month-old baby. Finding no way to escape this new presence in her life, she flees her small apartment in a working-class neighborhood of Montreal for the time of a furtive escapade. A stolen evening, like a lifeline, that will allow her to live "normally" again for a few hours. Teenage games, loud music and provocative encounters don't stop Nina from hearing Jessie's cries echoing back to her. A salutary adventure that will help Nina, the daughter-mother, get a little closer to who she is.
